SEALING OF RECORDS USDC MA APPLAUSE TO THE NEWTON PATCH
as a footnote to the public comments re sealing for a time of the litigation wherein newton is a civil defendant in a suit seeking a million or so dollars for the conduct in part of setti warren, the usdc today issued an ecf re sealing of records ...which i can only believe may have been the result of the brave freedom of press comments permitted by this great Newton Patch....i suggest the Patch may have been the factor that tendered the revisited Local Rule...of our outstanding brilliant judges and those that serve our usdc in MA...a gift to this community... the tragedy of course is THAT 90% OF THE NEWTON VOTERS HAD NO PART OF THE SAD EVENT OF SEPT 17....2013 90% OF THE REG VOTERS TURNED AWAY FROM SETTI WARREN A LOSS OF HORRIFIC SHAME AND DISGRACE TO THE MAYOR WHO HAS THE CITY IN FEDERAL LITIGATION,.... PUBLICNOTICE LOCAL RULE 7.2 IMPOUNDED AND CONFIDENTIAL MATERIALS The Local Rules Committee is considering possible modifications to the Court's rules and practices concerning the filing and handling of materials under seal, including possible modifications to Local Rule 7.2 (Impounded and Confidential Materials). As a preliminary step in that review, the judges of this court issue this public notice to notify the bar that documents presented to the court must be accompanied by a motion to seal. Any document presented for filing under seal, without a motion to seal, will be returned to the filing party. Documents and cases sealed by statute (grand jury proceedings, qui tam cases) are not affected by this notice.
